In this visual arts course, students ages 12-14 from the North Lawndale area will explore the meaning of the term rehabilitation, and use city planning methodology to examine what a place of rehabilitation is and has been in the past.

Students will be encouraged to approach language and vocabulary through visual arts experimentation including but not limited to collage, illustration, 2D Digital photography, and mural-making to demonstrate creating language centering rehabilitation and preventing incarceration.
