Join Circles and Ciphers for a community circle, held by an elder and a youth circlekeeper that will address the conditioned identities (mother, father, gang member, etc.) that people carry through society that defines experiences, interactions and limitations to certain environments.

The community circle will serve as a safe space for elders and young people in Rogers Park to address discomfort due to race, culture, age, and roles, and how this discomfort has played out in the violence in the Rogers Park community. The goal of the circle will be to develop conversation on ways young people and elders can build healthy relationships and can be exposed to more opportunities and resources in community to create healthy intergenerational spaces of support and understanding.
