Join us for our Little Village hub’s final open house at the OPEN Center for the Arts. Over the past weeks, students have looked at the relationship between social conditioning and social control. The artists will showcase work in which they explore, express, and reflect on how this relationship has created a form of mind control in our daily lives and how it is connected to immigration, deportation, and incarceration. These pieces will be alongside a broader exhibition including some work by one of our personal favorites, Héctor Duarte. There will be food, Roma music, and good times to be had, so stop on by!
