Throughout this 10-week multimedia collaborative art project, residents from the North Lawndale area will use performance and public speaking to explore issues related to incarceration and the criminal justice system, drawing connections between the past and the present.

Teens will be presented with opportunities to learn how to amplify their personal and professional opinions surrounding prison abolition and American history by working with public speakers and strategists, they will also have a practice space for speeches and public speaking training.

Participants are highly encouraged to attend all ten weeks. Group size is limited and advance enrollment is strongly recommended.
